As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be a core member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and executing on a vision for how to grow the KYC/KYS business monumentally through new product innovation. We practice an agile, highly customer focused, and learning-based approach to product development that aims to bring new products to market in 9-12 months.

You will be a part of end-to-end development of client-facing software applications, building scalable UI and services that connect data and user interfaces. These applications will draw on Moody’s Analytics unique and rich data sources to generate insights for innovative products that create a new standard in the KYC/KYS space. You bring not only strong experience with algorithms, data structures, coding, and distributed systems, but also a passion for translating those skills into business impact for our customers.
Specifically, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Collaborate with product owners and QA analysts to define requirements and prioritize tasks

  • Design and implement technical solutions for new products and features

  • Help define testing, monitoring, and delivery plans for your work

  • Write well-designed, testable code

  • Peer review code changes

  • Learn, adapt, and propose new technologies to address our functional and scaling challenges

  • Champion and drive engineering processes and best practices

  • 1-3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced software development environment

  • Preferable, but not mandatory: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field

  • Ability to develop software in Python, JavaScript, Typscript and other programming languages

  • Ability to design maintainable APIs

  • Solid understanding of data modeling and database systems including SQL or NoSQL databases

  • Familiarity with web client, server optimization techniques (or willingness to learn)

  • Experience working on a collaborative product team passionate about Agile software processes, data-driven development, and experimentation

  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills and an ability to communicate ideas to non-technical audiences

  • Ability to guide own learning and contribute to domain knowledge building

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $ [74,600] to $ [108.200], depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
